The Brick's three-week Fight Fest celebrates the art and grace of fight choreography and features the premiere of festival curator Tim Haskell's apocalyptic "fightsical" Last Life. Cinema-inspired offerings include Fighto LLP's The Buccaneer, which gently pokes fun at pre-CGI seafaring epics, and Butterfly, Butterfly, Kill Kill Kill!, Depth Charge's reinterpretation of Seijun Suzuki's yazuka classic Branded to Kill. Plus, The Ninja Cherry Orchard proves to be a plausible pairing of two proud societies.
