Grant McCracken's work sits at the intersection of anthropology and economics. His most recent book, Chief Culture Officer: How to Create a Living, Breathing Corporation, was first heavily developed on his blog, and delves into the timely issue of knowingly tapping into what's going on in modern culture when building your business model and growing your company. In this recession (big R or not), we're pretty sure that more than just venture capitalists should find the talk illuminating (and if not, well, you can always file for Chapter 11 next year. But we warned ya).
