Since doing a little dance with DFA called Cone Toaster several years back, Brooklyn noiseniks Black Dice have turned their eyes to the dance floor, developing a crisp, neon-bright, electronic aesthetic. Proving that they're never done evolving, Black Dice's new record, Repo, is a boggling confusion of derailed, acid-dosed beats, Dan Deacon-esque squiggle, very murky psychedelia, guitar, and, hey, even some ol' fashioned noise-churn for good measure.
