Tom Jones

Now a royal knight, Tom Jones is going strong after 40 years of low-buttoned shirts, hip thrusts, and classic, lady-killing croons; at 66, the legend has one massive discography. It was 1967 when he hit pay-dirt with Green, Green Grass of Home and the singles "It's Not Unusual," "Delilah," and "She's a Lady." Jones brings to these and all his hits a rockabilly showmanship, having performed with all the contemporaries in YMCAs and basement bars everywhere: Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Elvis, and Little Richard. The Tom Jones live experience is well-documented on CD and DVD, but nothing can replace a splash of sweat from the brow of the sex machine himself.

    1. Tom Jones is 68. 2. He is NOT a crooner. 3. Rockabilly? Mr. Chenevert is woefully out of touch. He should not be allowed to comment until he catches up to the 21st century. Perhaps he can do so by moving back to this planet.
