Crazy is relative in Evan Smith's very funny new play about a born-again evangelical door-to-door missionary, played with farcical exuberance by Kellie Overbey (Betty's Summer Vacation), who finds herself in a biblical battle when she knocks on the wrong door. That door belongs to Mary, a stubborn Catholic, and her mild-mannered sister, Melissa. When Mary brings in Father Murphy for spiritual muscle, the sparks fly as they tackle the downside of celibacy, the likelihood of being resurrected, and of course, who's going to hell. The performances are spot-on, and director Walter Bobbie (The Marriage of Bette & Boo) handles Smith's wonderfully off-beat humor with aplomb.
