Talented and eclectic pianist and arranger-extraodinaire Christopher O'Riley channels the music of Radiohead via classical Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich. O'Riley's genre-bending compositions first caught our attention with 2003's True Love Waits, which distilled Thom Yorke, Johnny Greenwood, and company into a single piano part — simultaneously maintaining the intensity and highlighting the lush melodies that often hide behind the distortion.
