Cellist Ben Sollee is one to watch. According to NPR, he was one of 2007's best talents. So why have you still not heard of him? Probably because this folkie is more dedicated to playing than promoting. A Southern boy with leftist leanings (check out his take on Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come"), Solee cut his teeth with Béla Fleck, Abigail Washburn, and the Sparrow Quartet, and tonight hits LPR with singer/songwriter Vienna Teng.
