Sample-happy electro-acoustic wonders the Books perform a headlining set for tonight's entry in the Wordless Music Series. Turn up early to catch the group's Dutch half, Paul de Jong, accompany opening pianist Timothy Andres on a piece for piano and cello by Dmitri Shostakovitch. The rest of the night is devoted to De Jong's and partner Nick Zammuto's more pop-leaning work under the Books moniker, as part of a teaser-tour promoting their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled, new album.
