Frank Lloyd Wright: From Within Outward
Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum says:
Come celebrate the 50th anniversary of the newly restored Frank Lloyd Wright-designed landmark—the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The anniversary year opens with Frank Lloyd Wright: From Within Outward. Explore over sixty of Wright’s projects through drawings, models, and fly-throughs of privately commissioned homes, offices and public and religious spaces in the U.S., as well an unrealized projects such as the urban plan for Baghdad’s civic and government buildings. Though Wright is known as the greatest American architect of the 20th-century, this exhibition celebrates his work and inspires visitors to see the potential that architecture presents for this century and beyond.
Co-organized with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Media partner Thirteen/WNET. The Leadership Committee is gratefully acknowledged.
