"You don't have to believe in hell to walk around all the time feeling like you're going to burn in it," an exasperated Adam claims of religious belief in Naked Angels' new production Next Fall. Written with a quick wit and performed by an excellent cast who nails the laughs, the show is the bittersweet tale of Adam, his closeted Christian boyfriend Luke, and the religious divide that is never reconciled in their relationship. Told in flashbacks while Luke is in the hospital for a life-threatening injury, Next Fall is an insightful balance of melancholy and joy — in other words: love.
