Montreal's indie-pop septet the Dears has been through quite a lot of changes in the past few years. Since recording 2006's melodically moody Gang of Losers, they have "cast out the demons" according to frontman Murray Lightman, along with five of their members and the band's label. The result is an eclectic new album, Missles, with wailing power-rock guitar solos and an expansive final track (the electro hymn "Savior") that stretches well past radio-friendly time into double digits. Tonight, the Dears are joined by California new wavers Great Northern and pop quartet Eulogies.
