For the fifth anniversary of Housing Works' Design on a Dime charity exhibition and sale, the nonprof has gathered 50 of the world's top interior designers to contribute individual "room vignettes." Each composed scene is on view at the Metropolitan Pavilion for three days, where patrons can actually buy any part of the designs, for 60-80 percent off. Come check out the creativity of Hable Construction, Calypso, and, yes: Ty Pennington, and know that any small splurge is for a great cause. VIPs get a sneak peak and enjoy a cocktail reception on Thursday evening.
