Two southern newlyweds are the only characters present in Sweet Storm, but there is more than enough drama stemming from this one relationship to sustain the play. Taking place on their wedding night, their honeymoon suite is a treehouse, the bride is paralyzed from the waist-down, and the bridegroom is a preacher. Sweet Storm is at once endearing and sad, yet this play is still able to highlight that there is hope in the most difficult of situations.
