NYC is a very bikeable city — just watch out for those car doors. It's also, of course, an extremely creative city, so it was just a matter of time before local fixed-gearheads came up with the Bicycle Film Fest. Besides several world-premiere screenings (we're looking forward to The Third Wheel, which explores the New York pedicab industry), the festival also hosts bike parades and parties, an expansive, multi-venue art show called Joyride, even a bike polo match. Grab your helmet and bike on down; there's really nothing quite like it.
