Four years ago the nation fell head over heels for the fox-trotting 11-year-olds of Marilyn Agrelo's Mad Hot Ballroom (2005). While the rest of the country tries to relive the adorableness on DVD, New Yorkers have a chance to see the real thing. Today, top students from the American Ballroom Theater's Dancing Classrooms program (which offers dancing lessons in NYC public schools) compete in the city-wide Colors of the Rainbow event for a chance to be crowned the best in the city.
