Go Go Gowanus Music and Arts Festival

This weekend, the Bell House is setting up a block party on 7th Street, and everyone's invited. To see what Gowanus has to offer, head over and meet the neighbors. Three stages showcase local music (both inside the Bell House and out), while Gowanus designers, artists, and merchants hawk their handmade wares. Kids will find contentment in the bouncy castle. (Yes, you're too big for it. Sorry.) Restos from the nabe bring out their fave dishes, and bars serve special seasonal cocktails. Summer officially begins today, and there's no better way to kick it off than a good old-fashioned block party.
