Part of being a New Yorker — or any city-dweller, really — means finding some equilibrium between thick-skinned, non-plussed cynic and adventurous, whimsical sprite. It takes some of each to truly thrive here, but sometimes we forget the latter. Luckily, Jeremy Dalmas is here to reawaken our imaginations. His ambient audio adventure is sort of like (one of our faves) Forgotten NY brought to life, or an Art Mobs-ish take on Manhattan itself; simply download the two-hour long audio tour, then head to the starting point. You can experience the narrated wonder-walk at any time, but this weekend, if you start within the appointed times, you'll end at a picnic where you can meet the artist and your fellow tourists.
