If your Fridays are packing less variation — but possibly more alcohol — than you'd like, beat the numbers with this date with Mother Earth. Tonight's quick picker-upper at Harriman State Park starts with an easy hike to the campfire grounds, all under the full, luminous moon. There lies the excursion's real treasures: s'mores, hot chocolate, spook stories, and other communal amusements that fuel a refreshing change of place and pace.
