Jeff Mills' name is nearly synonymous with Detroit techno. After forming Underground Resistance with "Mad" Mike Banks in the late '80s, Mills went on to to start his own label, Axis, where he has released the majority of his music as well as collaborations with fellow Detroiter Robert Hood. His sound is stripped-down and hard, and his relentless and innovative DJ sets have made him a legend across the globe. Tonight's show at Sullivan Room finds "the Wizard" showcasing his techno mastery with a decks-and-909 set.
