An event like this one is why we really love NYC. Where else are you going to see a seemingly spontaneous congregation of this much sheer creativity? For 16-straight hours, artists give you a solid case of sensory overload — and that's a huge compliment. DJs Juan Atkins, Neil Aline, Taimur+Fahad, and many more man the decks; live music comes courtesy of Apollo Heights (again: and more); video art is supplied by Leo Kesting Gallery, Ad Hoc Art, Lauren Flax, Todd Terry (and: you get the idea, more); while painters, sculptors, photogs, and spoken-word artists also assemble their best-ofs. It's a party. It's an art show. It's essential (see what we did there?) NYC, and that's the best part.
