The Pool Parties return this summer, only this time, the shindig is adjacent to an actual body of water. That's right, Williamsburg's Sunday-afternoon mainstay trades in McCarren Park's empty pool for the East River State Park's cool breezes. Not a bad deal in our book. To seal it, Jelly offers up a stellar series of shows, including today's kick-off bash featuring reunited art-punk heroes Mission of Burma. Come early for Ponytail's spazzy brand of Baltimore weirdness, Fucked Up's ingenious, experimental hardcore, and a solo set from Be Your Own Pet frontwoman Jemina Pearl.
