Summertime boat parties are as common as ice-cream trucks, but Wurst Records' version is one of our favorites. It's a tradition to kick off the Independence Day weekend with the Wurst cruise, which sails at midnight and involves several hours of debauchery on the East River. You can party knowing there's no work the next day — which means you'll probably wake up on Sunday, July 5, with sparkler burns in weird places and wondering what the heck happened. This year, superb space-disco purveyors Brennan Green and My Cousin Roy rock the boat (har!) for only 200 guests, so buy a presale ticket or you may get left at the dock.
