Portland (by way of Michigan) scuzz-poppers Little Claw features singer/guitarist Kilynn - definitely one to watch. They've got a brand new album out on the Ecstatic Peace label, started by Thurston Moore.
Fergus & Geronimo
Fergus & Geronimo are Jason Kelly (of Wax Museums) and Andrew Savage (of Teenage Cool Kids) from Denton, TX, with a sound that is reminiscent of motown, proto-punk, hardcore and garage influences. Their latest release Harder Than It's Ever been 7" out on Woodsist Records this summer.
Magic Kids
The Magic Kids are a mysterious band of pop pranksters from Memphis. After being banished from the kingdom, the Magic Kids discover a secret bohemian shanty in the forest where they work tirelessly to create the magical sound that will grant them entrance back into the castle.
