Rumble on the River brings the popular amateur boxing series Friday Night Fights outside for a rare free show this week. The ring sets up on the otherwise tranquil far-end of the pier, and people start lining up long before the 7:30pm fight time to secure a place to catch a glimpse of the next Floyd Mayweather. Expect half-a-dozen or so matches that alternate between amateur boxing and muay thai, a Southeast Asian martial art referred to as "the art of eight limbs," and includes all sorts of awesome moves like the cobra punch.
