Over the past decade, the Lincoln Center Festival has brought productions from the farthest reaches of the world to New York every year. This time around, the lineup has an Eastern European bent with productions by innovative Hungarian director Béla Pintér, acclaimed Polish theatre company Narodowy Stary Teatr, and a North American premiere by the Russian company Maly Drama Theatre. Other highlights include a tribute concert to legendary New Orleans songwriter Wardell Quezergue with Dr. John, and the US premiere of the two-part French epic spectacle Les Éphémères.
