Out with the pretensions and in with the, ahem, naked truth. The Paul Kasmin Gallery celebrates the naked form through September, but wants to make sure we aren't confusing it with its loftier ideal, the nude. Naked! is exactly what it purports to be, as according to the gallery, nudes all come with the pretense of being something more. Because a room teeming with images of naked women wouldn't be entirely appropriate to the stated theme, the gallery has graciously delegated its back space to the male form, in a delightful companion exhibit (or is it an exhibit of companions?) titled Size Matters.
