Ma’ayan Castel's voice and music are too big to fit in a box, yet her songs are at once recognizable. Her pop-sensible music is an eclectic blend of flavors, which she describes as “Pop+Culture”, and others have described as a captivating rock/reggae sound with Sade-esque vocals. Born in Israel and growing up in the States, Ma’ayan is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, which is where she met her writing partner and producer Leo Mellace, leading to the release of her recent debut EP Walk On Water.
