Read an interview with NY Craft Beer Week director Josh Schaffner on Flavorwire.
For nine glorious days, craft brewers from across the country take over the city, showcasing their creations in over 80 bars. Purchasing a passport ($35) allows enthusiasts to try a beer at these bars for a just couple of bucks each. Be sure to stop by the Ginger Man on the 15th to meet Stone's brewers and try a very rare dry-hopped cask of Stone Ruination. Other events include a homebrewing tour, and a Captain Lawrence pairing with Murray's cheese. We'll splurge on a six-course dinner at Resto paired with Ommegang beer, and a sustainable food benefit at Prince George Hotel featuring food from Blue Hill, Aureole, and Gramercy Tavern.
