The Metropolitan Museum of Art says…

Ancient Afghanistan was home to one of the most complex civilizations of Asia, where multiple artistic influences intermingled. The exhibition Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul celebrates the country’s rich heritage and commemorates the heroic rescue of the most precious of Afghanistan's archaeological treasures, thought to have been destroyed. This talk will be given by Sarah Graff of the Met. Meet at the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Exhibition Hall on the 2nd floor at 7 p.m.
