The most famous Jane of the jungle, Dr. Goodall has been synonymous with primatology for decades. Back in the late '80s, she was even lampooned in a Far Side cartoon that features two chimps grooming each other above this prickly Larson punchline: "Well, well... Another blond hair... Conducting a little more 'research' with that Jane Goodall tramp?" The gracious doctor was amused by the reference, rather than cross, and the "Tramp" t-shirt now raises proceeds for her eponymous institute. Tonight, she and Harvard professor Howard Gardner parse solutions for a better future, while also promoting her latest volume of hope.
