CEC Artslink and Tin House Books mark the publication of Rasskazy: New Fiction from a New Russia with two insider events. Rasskazy means "story," which is the only Russian required, since the participants take care of the rest. On Monday, translator and n+1 editor Keith Gessen moderates a discussion with author Natalya Klyuchareva and editors Mikhail Iossel and Jeff Parker. The next evening's get-together takes place uptown, where authors Klyuchareva, Maxim Amelin and Ekaterina Boyarskikh read in Russian while their translators Gessen, Mariya Gusev, and Matvei Yankelevich follow in English.
