Career Camp: Socially Responsible Careers
Galapagos Art Space says:
Galapagos Art Space is partnering with Flavorpill to bring you Career Camp, a low-cost, high-value 5-part lecture and networking series for professionals living in New York City. Responding to the need for discussion, meaningful interaction, and a means to act upon ideas within a community of local professionals, Career Camp brings together industry-leading thinkers and next wave ideas in order to stimulate discussion, sharpen skills, and illuminate what comes next.
We're thrilled to hear Amy Novogratz, director of the acclaimed TED Prize (and hence the woman behind all those popular podcasts, videos, and the associated TED Talks). Joining her is Flavorpill buddy Jerri Chou; Chou co-founded All Day Buffet, which is hosting the upcoming Feast conference we keep telling you about. WORKSHOP sends over two designers (and founders) to talk about creating and keeping jobs that are progressive and — in some way — actually improve the planet, while Randy Hunt, the man behind Supercorp and Citizen Scholar (a sustainable and positive development and design firm, respectively), similarly inspires.
