Nobel prize-winning economist Paul Krugman discusses how the current economic crisis parallels the Great Depression and explains how we can avoid catastrophe. He is the author of the bestseller, The Return of Depression Economics and The Crisis of 2008, which gives clear advice on how to contain the crisis and turn around the world economy. Krugman writes a twice weekly op-ed column for The New York Times and a blog named for his book The Conscience of a Liberal. He teaches economics at Princeton University.
