Take two sublime voices that blend so well that they seem like they were made to be performed together and add an acoustic guitar bursting forth with powerful arpeggios; to that, pair poignant keyboards and a catchy ukulele. The music, at times, seems like almost nothing at all – and yet every time it’s played, it reaches deep into the hearts of audiences…introducing Cocoon.
Without getting ahead of ourselves, the French group is following the footsteps of acoustic singer-songwriters and composters like Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Sufjan Stevens Cocoon’s first album My Friends All Died in a Plane Crash on October the 29,2008 and they are thrilled to be making their US debut at Joe’s Pub!
