Haik Kocharian is a New York based multimedia artist working in photography, film and music. His songs are lyrical, heartfelt and often funny, but they also can be dark, angry and provocative at times. With poetic lyrics delving into the personal, the tunes are catchy and backed by Kocharian’s full and rich acoustic sound.
Kocharian has performed concerts in New York, Los Angeles and throughout Europe. In 2007, he released his first full album Heaven which is currently available on iTunes, Amazon and elsewhere on the internet. Kocharian recently released his second EP album titled Juice. He is currently working on his new album Overdose of Pleasure out by mid 2010.
Kocharian's performance will coincide with an exhibition of his photography in the gallery. More info on the photo exhibit here.
