Couldn't make the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Radio City show last week? Still mourning the break-up of the Harlem Shakes? Showpaper, the all-ages, DIY concert newsletter, wants to make it all better. They're throwing a benefit tonight at the Kidd Yellin Gallery in Red Hook, and while Karen O probably won't make it, Kendrick Stauch of the Harlem Shakes will be there, and rest assured, he does a mean YYYs impression. But this is no consolation prize. Kendrick is debuting solo material from his upcoming album, and is joined by the the self-proclaimed "indie-vaudeville-conceptual-art-rock-slideshow" Trachtenburg Family and former Beat the Devil singer Shilpa Ray. While you're there, you should also check out the art from Butthole Surfers' Gibby Haynes, Charlotte Kidd, and Rebecca Schiffman.
