Pascal Rioult creates dances that embrace the future while feeling as if they've been around forever. His latest endeavor is a collaboration with video animator Brian Beasley that juxtaposes live dancers with their computerized counterparts as they move to Bach's Well Tempered Clavier and his "Sonata for Violin and Piano #6." This two-part, world-premiere piece is paired with two older Rioult pieces: an interpretation of Ravel's Bolero and an evening-length work set to Mozart's Great Mass.
