The Metropolitan Museum of Art says…

The Met presents this film to accompany the special exhibition Silk and Bamboo: Music and Art of China, on view through February 7. Ancient Chinese Music Instruments, produced by Gong Wang, examines musical instruments unique to Chinese culture and demonstrates their sounds (65 min.). The screening will take place in the Bonnie J. Sacerdote Lecture Hall in the Uris Center for Education at 2 p.m.
