The newest installment of the best (and most often sold-out) reading series in the city is "America Night," featuring three fantastic authors and one musical artist all steeped in national pride. Author and think-tank senior fellow Rich Benjamin, novelist and NYT Magazine staff writer Jonathan Dee, and 2009 National Book Award winner Colum McCann are in attendance to read as well as take the obligatory on-stage risk host Amanda Stern asks of all participants. For some stimulation of a different kind, Jim White is also on hand to bring you some sultry Southern rock.
