The intricate wit of downtown darling David Greenspan has time and again charmed theatergoers who demand a strong dose of smarts in their arts. This one-man production hangs mainly on his shoulders, as he acts every role, interjects every stage direction, and annotates many notions about what a theater experience can be. At a rolling pace, Greenspan dovetails the travails of Warren G. Harding with those of a gastro-intestinally challenged playwright, weaving the two storylines into a piece bound to give pause for thought — once the lively show lets up and the imaginary curtain drops of course.
