“This free event hosted by creative tap dancer and poet Joseph Webb is the open-mic equivalent for those who are fast and agile on their feet. Webb strives to innovate this sometimes overlooked style of movement, pulling it from a Fred Astaire context into an urban milieu, gathering people from all walks of life and varying abilities to join in the jam. The Joseph Webb Quartet keeps the time, leaving the rest up to the dancers. This improvisational structure is rarely seen and allows participants the opportunity to find their own singular sensations.”
