Amanda Stern ushers in another star-studded edition of her wildly successful Happy Ending Music & Reading Series tonight at Joe's Pub. Joshua Ferris' '07 debut, Then We Came to the End got him noticed, and critics are already gaga over his newist, The Unnamed, which was just published. Ferris is joined by novelist (and frequent New Yorker contributor) Ron Carlson and Southern writer Padgett Powell. The musical guest is former Jealous Girlfriends front-lady Holly Miranda, whose dreamy electro-pop compositions landed her the opening slot on Tegan and Sara's upcoming national tour.
