Stuck in a dead-end job and haunted by grander dreams of making movies, Lee Kazimir reads some offhanded advice from a well-known filmmaker, who says that aspiring directors could learn what the art of cinema truly means by "walking alone for five thousand kilometers—let's say from Madrid to Kiev." Kazimir decides to take the advice literally, flies to Madrid and sets out on foot toward Kiev on a route that arcs some 3,000 miles across the breadth of Europe and traces through the heart of seven countries. More Shoes is the filmed record of that journey and of one man’s struggle against physical limits, cultural barriers and his own doubts to find inspiration on the road. Through encounters both hilarious and heartrending, Kazimir begins to realize that to understand film-making, he will first have to understand life itself. More Shoes tells the true story of how travel at a snail's pace can change the way you see the world forever.
