Curator Carmen Bambach talks to composer Bruce Adolphe about how he translated the art and ideas of Agnolo Bronzino (Italian, 1503-1572)—whose drawings are on view at the Met in the exhibition The Drawings of Bronzino—into music. The world premiere of Adolphe's new piece, Of Art and Onions: Homage to Bronzino, will be performed at the Met on Saturday, March 6.
