For children of the '80s, Troop Beverly Hills (1989) has much to offer: Tori Spelling and Jenny Lewis, kitschy costumes, laughable musical interludes, and of course, Shelley Long. But why just watch it when you can live it? Tonight at the Bell House, gather with fellow honorary Wilderness Girls to sing, dance, and quote along to the film; earn badges, sell some cookies, and otherwise revel in the '80s cult-classic flick. Velda Plendors need not apply; bring your best pre-Spice Girls sense of girl power and cross your fingers for some cameos as impressive as those in the film (director Jeff Kanew — the same genius behind Revenge of the Nerds — is already slated to attend).
