The eldest grandson of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, Curtis Roosevelt spent his earliest years living in the White House and is one of the last living witnesses to their lives. He is highly regarded for his long career with the U.S. Secretariat and is considered the Roosevelt family historian. He is the author of Too Close to the Sun: Growing Up in the Shadow of My Grandparents, Franklin and Eleanor.
