After trekking around the globe performing from England to Australia, downtown theatre group WaxFactory returns home for a three-month retrospective of their work from the past decade. This week's piece, Quartet v4.0, is riff on Heiner Muller's classic play detailing the cruel intentions of Valmont and Merteuil. Director Ivan Talijancic's apocalyptic sci-fi vision is staged in a massive transparent structure that traps the contentious duo in tight quarters as they engage in vicious mind games aided by Pavel Getov's inventive video installation.
