Just because it's Carnegie Hall doesn't mean Iggy Pop can't take his shirt off. This year's Tibet House Benefit is sure to undercut the glitzy venue with an awesome lineup including Iggy's raw power, Patti Smith and her punk howl, and the onstage antics and wine spills of gypsy rockers Gogol Bordello. Curated by Philip Glass and also including Regina Spektor, a lineup with this much firepower can actually be enjoyed for fairly cheap (tickets start at $30). The money also goes to a great cause, so if Iggy accidentally gives you a boot in the face, chalk it up to charitable sacrifice.
