Just before the release of Tim Burton's much-anticipated sequel to Lewis Carroll's classic children's tale/trip, alternative dance promoters Swing Goth throw a festive ball celebrating the offbeat and macabre. Seattle's Abney Park play two sets of catchy industrial tunes that are slightly cheesy yet highly danceable. Free dance lessons are included and costumes are encouraged. For those who want something appropriately goth, sponsor Vampire Freaks vends on site too.
