Mad Men creator Matt Weiner is the latest in a long list of personalities to join The Red Book Dialogues at the Rubin Museum of Art.
In celebration of the Rubin Museum’s exhibition of Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung’s famous never-before-seen ‘Red Book,’ interesting individuals are paired onstage with a Jungian analyst and invited to interpret a page from the Red Book as a starting point for conversation.
Weiner is a six-time Emmy Award winner, creator of the hit television show Mad Men, and writer of Sopranos seasons 5 and 6. Of writing, he once said “…you can force it and push it and talk it out, but in the end, your subconscious does all the work.” Jungian analyst Morgan Stebbins will coax Weiner’s subconscious to the surface during this Red Book Dialogue—one of the last in the series.
